These 5-ingredient Apple Oatmeal Pancakes are the perfect breakfast for fall, cold winter mornings or you simply crave to eat something cozy. They are healthy, easy to make, full of vitamins and nutrients.
Once you have gathered all the ingredients, in a bowl start off by mixing the oat flour and baking powder. Therefore, add-in the egg and applesauce and stir until well combined.
Turn on stove top on low heat and consequently in a non-stick pan spray some oil or add 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Consequently, add a spoonful of your batter and flat until making a circle shape. Cook for 2-3 minutes, flip pancake and cook another 2-3 minutes more on the other side and take out from the pan. Do the same until the batter is finished.
To make the caramelized diced apples, you will need a fresh apple, peel and dice into cubes. Transfer into a bowl, add some dash of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon maple syrup and stir until well combined. Therefore, microwave for 1 minute. They should turn out softer.
