This Biscoff Peanut Butter Oatmeal bowl has a touch of sweetness, crunchy and creaminess. It’s loaded with healthy and filling protein, fiber and is ready in minutes! This recipe is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and low sugar.
When I’m eating oats, the first thing I do is look for ways to make them interesting. Oats are like… rice. They’re always bland. That’s why toppings are so important! Like, peanut butter is one of the most used ingredients in my kitchen. It pairs well with so many things, especially with oats! I also like to add something sweet, crunchy and creamy on top to live the “oatmeal experience” to the fullest.
The ingredients to make Biscoff Peanut Butter Oatmeal
- Rolled oats – You can use quick oats as well but in reality any kind works! I prefer this one because they are thicker and have a chewier texture.
- Oat flour – Awesome for thickening the oats! Replace for protein powder or coconut flour.
- Honey or maple syrup – I used honey but if you are vegan, feel free to add maple syrup!
- Greek yogurt – Any plain yogurt works! If vegan, make sure to add any plant-based yogurt.
- Milk of choice – You can use any kind of plant-based or dairy milk. In my case, I used unsweetened almond milk.
- Water
- Banana – Gives a hint of natural sweeteness and also packed with potassium.
- Sugar-free caramel sauce – I used Smucker’s brand but any caramel sauce works!
- Hemp seeds – Totally optional but if you want to add extra protein. Make sure to add these babies!
