Ingredients to make The Best Oreo Oat Cake

There are a lot of your favorite ingredients and here’s what you’ll need:

    • Oat flour – aka blended rolled oats. If Gluten-Free make sure to check that is certified
    • Granulated sweetener of choice – I personally use erythritol, which is a sugar substitute. But, you can use any!
    • Vanilla protein powder – I highly recommend adding it, because enhances the flavor and gives a moist texture.
    • Baking powder
    • Himalayan Salt – enhances the flavors
    • Cinnamon – just a little bit
    • Banana – make sure it’s a perfectly ripe banana!
    • Vanilla extract
    • Milk of choice – I used unsweetened almond milk but you can use any other kind of plant-based or dairy milk.
    • Chocolate – (for the filling) it could be hazelnut butter or any 70% chocolate bar
    • Oreos – the MAIN CHARACTER here!

Can I prep batter the night before?

The answer is: YES! Make sure to mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and the wet ones in another. Then, the next morning mix both together and bake.

    How big is this recipe?

I used an 8 oz ramekin. So this mini cake is single serve. Just for YOU.

    Want to save for later?

You can store it in the fridge up to 3 days. And when you are ready to eat the rest, microwave it for 45 seconds. Add a splash of milk to moisten it and it’s ready to DEVOUR.

    Ingredients substitutes and notes

    • Don’t like bananas? No problem! Add 1 tbsp of chia seeds instead.
    • No oat flour? Use rolled oats and add all the ingredients into a blender.
    • Can I use liquid sweetener? I haven’t really tried it yet, but you can totally use it! It will maybe affect the consistency.
